All the Questions...

I recently started reading Life as Louise (which is a funny title because the bloggers name is Audrey, but regardless, I enjoy it!) and she did a really fun post last week that I decided to copy. Basically, she answered a ton of questions that I thought were a bit more unique and fun than the ones we often do for "currently" posts, although those are some of our most popular posts. Anywhoooo, since I'm writing for two for the foreseeable future, I need some gimme posts, okay?

This is one of them! It should have been my resolutions, but I don't really have any. I did put together some 2017 goals in my planner, so I'll share those when I do my full planner overview, which is coming next week!! GET EXCITED!

What are you completely bored of in life right now?
Trump and The Bachelor. I would like to block everything on Twitter involving either of these two things.

What is your favorite scented candle?
Hmm, I used to really love anything clean like cotton or ocean but I bought a Cucumber Melon (hello middle school!) one recently at a winery and it is kind of to die for. In fact, I'm going to light it right now.

What movie do you laugh at the most?
This is a hard one because I'm not really a movie person. I'd have to say Bridesmaids

What is the last song you listened to?
Hotel California by the Eagles - thank you Prime Music and your beautiful "Best of Prime Music" station!

What's one thing you still have from your childhood?
I still have this print out picture/story thing that talks all about everything that took place in the world on my birthday. It's actually hanging in the office and one of my favorite things.

Samantha's Birthday

What was your least favorite subject in school?
I was never a big history buff, but I think math was my least favorite. Besides Statistics, because that makes sense.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?
I think I'd like to be able to walk through walls / traffic / the like. Think how fast you'd get places!

What is the best compliment you've ever received?
When I was working hard to lose weight a coworker who I saw quite infrequently gasped and told me I looked amazing and had lost a lot of weight. That was gratifying because often when you see people every day, they don't notice those things. I've also received some compliments about my work ethic which mean a lot to me.

What's the most adventurous thing you've done?
Uh, I'm not a super adventurous person I don't think. I've zip lined a few times and I traveled to China in high school to dive with Olympic trained athletes.

What's one thing you need to have in your fridge at any given time?

If you could raid one woman's closet, who would it be?
Oh that's hard! I like to be stylish but also comfy, I think I'd raid Jennifer Aniston's closet. She's got that "I look hot as hell but didn't try" look down pat.

If you could teach one subject in school, what would it be?
I hated school, for the record. But I'd probably teach a writing or speaking course of some sort.

What is your favorite movie?
Sweet Home Alabama!!

Twitter or Instagram?
I go back and forth. Most the time, Twitter - especially with Instas new algorithm, I'm just not a fan of that. I post more on our blog Insta then our Twitter though.

Dogs or cats?
Dogs. I grew up with cats, but I've converted to a dog person, for sure!

Dolphins or koalas?
Dolphins! I've always wanted to swim with Dolphins, maybe 2017 is the year!

Bird-watching or whale-watching?
Whale-watching. It's such a cool experience, they're just so giant! The weather had started to turn, so other than that we got a whale tale in this picture, it's not very spectacular.

Whale Watching in Lincoln City - Whale Tale

Weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
I almoooost ate a 100-year-old egg in China, which is apparently a delicacy. But I did not. I did, however, eat some parts of a pig, like the ears, that are also considered delicacies. I also ate green eggs and ham in elementary school, which I know isn't very adventurous, but it was plenty weird!

What's your favorite band?
I'm really loving Kenny Chesney right now, I also lovvveeee Heidi Newfield. If we were to decide to have a wedding, this is the song I'd want our first dance to.

What country do you wish to visit?
Australia. Ireland. Fiji. I'd love to do Paris/Greece/Italy eventually too. We have a lot of places on our bucket list!

What's your favorite color?

Husky Game

Least favorite color?
Pink. I'm only a little bit girly. Pink is too much.

What color dress did you wear to your prom?
Red. I was way too formal - I didn't even want to go but everyone said "you'll regret it someday if you don't go." I would not have. I regret going, if anything - haha!

Blow-dry or air-dry?
Blow-dry. This frizzy mess of a head of hair doesn't allow anything else.

Pilates or yoga?
Neither really, they don't calm me and I don't really feel like I get a good workout.

Jogging or swimming?
Jogging. I dislike getting my hair wet.

Best way to decompress?
A long hot shower.

What's the best thing to happen to you this year (2016)?
Justin moving back to Seattle!

Where would you love to live?
San Diego, they have perfect weather all year long. And the ocean.

What's your midnight snack?
If I'm up at midnight hungry anything will do. Generally I go for the pantry first but then I could end up with a pickle or string cheese out of the fridge.

What do you usually order at Starbucks?
A grande Iced Coffee, no classic (their syrup), 1 Splenda with some cream. If I'm really looking to splurge around the Holidays I get a Peppermint White Mocha. They're to die for.

Who is the last person you texted?
Justin. Trying to get the interior of our house painted so we're pricing out people.

What are three things you can't live without?
Besides family/friends/Justin? 1. A job, I don't think I would do well without something to focus on and work to excel at. 2. Organization and 3. Plans. I like to be organized and have a plan for what we're doing / what's going on. I have a really hard time going with the flow.

What's the first thing you do in the morning?
Snooze. Snooze. Snooze.

What is the question you get asked the most?
Up until last week I got asked about Nicole's pregnancy a lot - and whether or not the baby had come yet (he was 17 days late!)

What's one word you use too much?
Pretty much any swear word. I'd like to knock that off. I guess that could be a goal for 2017!

Would you describe yourself as messy or neat?
Neat for the most part. Not particularly clean, though - I mean our house is clean, don't get me wrong, I clean the kitchen pretty much every time I cook but Justin is the one who sweeps and vacuums and things like that. I seriously consider, on practically a daily basis, getting a cleaning crew to come do the nooks and crannies. Have you ever cleaned baseboards or corners near the floor by the front door? Or WINDOW TRACKS?! Awful.

What karaoke song would you sing without needing the monitor?
Anything by Journey!

What's one skill you wish you had?
I'm stealing this from Audrey, but I actually took a speed reading course for a project in college, I really wish I could read faster, I'm convinced I'd read much more if that were the case!

What is the geekiest thing about you?
Geekiest? I'm not that much of a geek I don't think, but I am a major homebody - is that geeky?

PHEW. Gosh that was a long one!! Any fun ones? Give me your answers in the comments!
