- It is a personal styling service in which you fill out a style profile, give them links to your Pinterest style board and leave notes for your stylist as regularly or irregularly as you'd like.
- Your stylist takes the time to handpick 5 items for your fix that they think you'll love. These items vary from clothes to jewelry, scarves, purses and even shoes. For my Stitch Fixes I only ask for clothes because that is the area where I lack styling ability.
- They ship you your fix, you receive it and have approximately 2 days to try everything on and decide if you love it or hate it. Then you send back what you don't want in a pre-paid envelope and keep the items you couldn't part with.
- Last little details, Stitch Fix has a $20 fee for each fix sent to you. If you purchase any items the $20 goes towards your purchase and if you purchase all five items you get 25% off! You can get a Fix as often as you want. I am signed up to receive them monthly but I can turn that off at any time, set it up to send only when I request one or I could even bump it up to every two weeks (if only Justin wouldn't have a fit over that...).
It's my favorite time of the month! This fix wasn't not on point, but it wasn't a 5 item keeper either.
Level 99 - Cindie Linen Short
Size 4 - $78
So, I may or may not be kicking myself for sending these back after looking at the pictures. I really felt like they were too big in the leg, this isn't a straight on picture, but there was quite a bit of extra fabric in between my legs and I just wasn't in love with them. However, the color is amazing and they were linen... it doesn't get any more comfortable than that!
Side note... when did my hair get so long! It was like crazy short in my first Stitch Fix Reveal only a few months ago...
19 Cooper - Maycon Halter Top
Medium - $54
Again... I'm kind of regretting sending this back, but I'm also two gin & tonics in, so I shouldn't doubt my sober self! It looks semi flattering in this particular picture but it was more like a tent. Also, fringe? I don't don't do music festivals... not me, so where will I wear this? And ALSO, I can't wear a normal bra (although, I wore these stickies which are amazing with a fitted dress or something!). Back it goes.
41Hawthorn - Breyson Split Neck Pleated Sleeveless Blouse
Small - $54
Love yellow, love loose fitting blouses, love something I can wear under a blazer or just as easily under a jean jacket (which I did this week). Super comfy, fun color and perfect fit (IN A SMALL - celebration over here). Also, can we talk about my face freckles that come out when I'm in the sun... I wish I had them all the time.
Loveappela - Swindell Lace Arm Knit Top
Small - $58
I just didn't feel like this was particularly special. I have tops that are this shape and they're SUPER comfy, but not super flattering and frankly, the knit "lace" was kind of itchy. I just didn't need this one.
Kut From the Kloth - Siena Cropped Pant
Size 4 - $58
So they're wrinkly here... but they are SO comfy, the same as the green pants above but a size 4 instead of a size 6, they both fit and aren't too tight or too lose but super comfortable. I love the hot pink color, they're more of a slacks material so I can totally wear them to the office with a blouse and heels and... I don't think they make my butt look all that bad....... definite keep!
So, there are my items from May's fix!
