It's that time again! Our fourth (I can't believe it's already been four months since we opened up this little space to you guys!) Blog Crush goes to Camp Patton with three giant cheers. You can read our previous three blog crushes here.
Now, to get on with it! Grace from Camp Patton is a mommy blogger and she has been on our Blog Roll since the day she came back into the blogging world after a short hiatus. Although neither Nicole or I have kids, each and every post Grace pens is pure gold and a joy to read. They come in all shapes a sizes, short and long, involved and oh-so-light-hearted and I love.them.all.
In seven years of marriage Grace and her husband Simon have brought five incredibly adorable and endlessly entertaining blog topics, I mean children, into this world. We've got Julia with her hoarding of all things, Sebastian who doesn't sleep much, Theodore who is the third wheel to his older siblings, Phoebe who is a vicious (in the most precious way) little one, lots of hair pulling hair and toy stealing with that one, and finally Bosco who is too young to have much going on but he's eyeing the happiest Patton baby award hard.
And yes, most all of that was stolen nearly directly from Grace's hilarious About page.
All of that explaining of offspring to tell you how incredibly funny, witty and entertaining Grace and her writing are. I laugh out loud while reading and cry in envy over the wit she uses on her blog and read every single post she writes.
She writes everything from Julia Styles, where she shares some of Julia's amazing one liners and interactions with the other siblings to style essentials and decorating tips and tricks. Simon is in his first year of a surgery fellowship which means residency is over, but even better it means, they got to move to Florida and out of the horrid dreadful winters that they had previously. Grace is no fan of real winters.
Although the constant sunshine, adorable children and immense patience she must have all make me jealous of Mrs. Patton, I will continue to read, day in and day out. I will continue to laugh out loud and refer moms and non-moms to your blog, because, Camp Patton - we've got a big ol' blog crush on you!
